IT’S ALWAYS TIME FOR TURKEY TACOS

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lb DAKOTA 44 Ground Turkey
  • 1 tablespoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Tomato Paste
  • Corn or flour tortillas

Optional Toppings:

  • Salsa
  • Sour Cream
  • Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Scallions
  • Pickled red onion
  • Pineapple salsa
  • Lettuce
  • Avocado
  • Cilantro

It doesn’t have to be Tuesday to get your taco fix. These turkey tacos will have your guests hovering around the food table.

DIRECTIONS:

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the ground turkey and break up with a wooden spoon. Cook until turkey is browned. Add cumin, chili powder stir until well combined. Add tomato paste. Turn off of heat and let sit until you’re ready to assemble tacos, which won’t be long.

Assemble tacos using a variety of toppings. Don’t be shy.
